Below is a questionnaire that I strongly urge you to take the time to complete, your answers from this questionnaire will form the backbone to your promotion plan and future success.

By creating the Promotion Profile in your word processor or text editor you can use the word and character count feature to check your accuracy.

To Create your promotion profile simply copy the headings to the questions below and then type your response to each question. When you are ready to use your promotion profile you can open it from your word processor or text editor and simply copy the information from your worksheet directly to the submission forms of where you are posting your site.

It is important to keep track of where you have submitted your site. A very simple way to do this is to open an email message window, address it to yourself, label the subject "Promotion Trail", then minimize the email window so that it is on your task bar. Once you are at the submission page of your Search Engine, copy the URL, open the email message and paste the URL and type the Search Engine Name that you have just posted to. You can keep on going list of each site you have posted to, which will allow you to easily go back and check your status at a later date.
